This blog will primarily focus on the peripheral equipment utilized during an fMRI experiment. I will be exploring the setup of my
facility, discussing new equipment worth examining, and
other related topics meant to help research centers solve common fMRI
equipment issues that often get overlooked. It would be wonderful if all you
needed was an MRI machine in order to conduct fMRI research. Alas from start to
finish, most fMRI studies have quite a few moving parts. Too often I come
across researchers anxious to get into the science without any regard for the equipment that needed to be built and/or purchased in
order for that science to even be possible! Hopefully the information contained in this blog will help your MRI research facililty get off on the right foot. Happy scanning!
